What is the instrument the Allgemeine SS buglers are playing here, in some kind of an event involving HJ/DJ boys? It must have some tradition value but nevertheless looks quite weird to me
Does someone perhaps recognize the building in the background?

its a Lur - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lur
I know that the danish nazis got copies/replicas made in 1939 and used them at their ralleys from that time and onwards.
In the book "Dansk nazisme - 1930-45 og fremefter" by John T. Lauridsen (ISBN:87-00-2005481 "Danish nazisme - 1930-45 and forward") he mention on page 67 that the danish nazi party gave Himmler four lurs as a gift at the end of 1940.

Thank you, Kal_El! You are certainly right with that, one lears something new every day .
Perhaps they had acquired or made some lures already earlier in the 1930's since the men have old style cap eagles and possibly Prussian style death's head insignia as well. This dates the photo either pre-1934 or pre-1936. Another note of interest is that these buglers don't have the traditional musicians swallow's nests on their shoulders.
Was this a one-time performance or did some specific SS-Standarte perhaps posses these lures? I haven't seen any other photos of them being played than this one which is also reproduced in "Order of the Death's Head" by Höhne.

Re:
Here are the same four men as pictured in the previous image (only differently arranged).

These four players, on the other hand, seem to be different from the previously pictured ones (only three are visible though; there's two on each side of the kettle drummer). The number of their Standarte appears to be 46 (not sure).
