Thanks for the detailed list, F.Fallersleben wrote: ↑19 Mar 2023 16:02I have a song sheet with the Horst Wessel song published by Groschwitz' Sunnwend-Verlag. On the back there is an advertisement for the SA-Marschlieder-Album by Gustav Groschwitz with the following content...

Whether these works were all set to music and recorded is something to find out.
I wouldn't be surprised if it turns out that he recorded most (if not all) of those. He appeared like a really thorough kind of musician to me. And, as you know, there's still quite a few gaps between matrix numbers in his recording list that we compiled here.
Cheers,
Ivan

Re: Songbooks
...SA Liederbuch...
...a small pocket sized book with 304 pages.....the book looks unused....needless to say I was very pleased to find it in this condition...I wonder if this book would be considered as the 'main' SA songbook...
...and this image is of the first page artwork...

Re: Songbooks
This was the official songbook of the SA until 1934, in fact there is the introduction by Ernst Röhm, after the "Night of the Long Knives" a new version was published, with a brown cover like the SA uniforms and with the introduction by Viktor Lutze; I, as I have already written to you privately (but you didn't reply to me) have an enormous collection of original National Socialist scores and songbooks (I have several double pieces including this one and I would have given it to you in exchange for some scans of pieces from your collection ( my collection has already been scanned), I renew my invitation to you to reply to me.
