Hello.

I wonder if there is anyone who knows if there is possible to obtain the soundtrack from the film Kolberg by Veit Harlan. The music was composed by Norbert Schultze. Any help is much appreciated!

Best regards

Hi!

What is the music played in Reichswehr review sequence in Triumph des Willens? It begins with a scene showing Hitler, Göring (note: in Heer general's uniform, not Luftwaffe one this time), von Blomberg and Hess standing on a review stand. Then a military drummer on a horseback with massive kettle drums appears, a very dramatic scene :).

My question is that what music besides "Parademarsch der 18er Husaren" is played in that sequence?

Oh how I wish that Leni would have specified the music in different sequences more exact way in her manuscript :)

Ivan:

What a list! Nice work, have to say :)

At the moment I don't have any additions or corrections to offer but instead I would like you to include the description of event into your list, like that:

Bayrischer Defiliermarsch - Bavarian SA Standarte
Steinmetz-Marsch - A DLV formation, lead by Bruno Loerzer
Herzog von Braunschweig - SA Feldpolizei sequence

Which SS formations did take part to that parade? In the beginning I think there's a Spielmannzug of local Nuremberg SS Standarte followed by the Fuss-Standarte itself (between these, Himmler and Wolff make their appearance). Then, LSSAH band storms in, lead by - I think it is - Hermann Müller-John. It is followed by some detachments of LSSAH carrying flags and finally "Adolf Hitler" standard. After that, Sepp Dietrich with his adjutant marches by, followed by LSSAH 1. kompanie and 2. kompanie. Finally the LSSAH band, split to two sections, march by playing simultaneously.

Edit: with LSSAH I think there are Jürgen Wagner, Kohlroser and Theodor Wisch as company commanders marching past the camera carrying swords. Who was Sepp Dietrich's adjutant back then in 1934 (appearing right after him)?

Re: Triumph des Willens

Hi i were wondering if there is anybody that could give me two songtitles from the Reifensthal movie triumph des willens, the first song i was wondering about was the song that is played in the first Hitlerjugend scenes ( the HJcamp ) i mean the first of the songs. The second i was wondering about was the song that is played in the SA-festivals not Volk ans Gewehr but the song that is played after Lutzes speech when the firecrackers are going of.

Only serious answers will be gratefull regards Richard :)
