Just messaging real quick to share an interesting piece of documentation. Apparently, supposed footage of this group exists, as can be seen in this documentary.

https://youtu.be/T6ULG7lzCmI?t=894 (14:54)

Can't exactly confirm whether this is genuine footage, but it is interesting nonetheless.

Parenthetically, the audio being played here is their own recording of the Horst Wessel Lied released under the National-Sozialistische-Schallplatten-Industrie record label.

I wonder what song is playing in this documentary (8:53 - 9:31). It's Martin's Trumpets too, I'm sure of it.

"Die braune Garde", also a recording by Schalmeienkapelle "Horst Wessel" (Hakenkreuz-Platte 2000A).

Cheers,
Ivan

Are there any archives in Germany where I can ask for digitisation of these recordings for use in a documentary film I plan to make? How strict are they about it there? These are very naive questions, but I don't know how to ask them in a different way because of my almost complete lack of English and German language skills.

Thanks!
