A quite funny mention of a famous song in the songbook of the Reich Labour Service "Singend wollen wir marschieren". It seems that in 1935 it was already "totgesungen" (i.e., sung to death) :lol: :lol:

Yes, funny indeed :D Thanks for posting the text.

Lore, followed by Lisa and Annemarie, was the most popular "NS girl" (NS troopers' love song) during the early Third Reich period (1933-1934).

The "Lore" song parody ("funeral") had several titles: "Zum Begräbnis der totgesungenen Lore", "Zum endgültigen Begräbnis der Lore", "Trauerode zum Begräbnis der Lore", "Lores Begräbnis"...
