Der Marsch ins Dritte Reich [march by L. Olias]

Hello, I found this march called "Der Marsch ins Dritte Reich" composed by Lotar Olias, and played by the SA-Kapelle Johannes Fuhsel. It's like a Potpourri, and there is many songs in it, I recognize "Volk, an's Gewehr!", "SA-Totenmarsch", "Horst-Wessel-Lied" and "Deutschlandlied" but there is other songs that I can't recognize... Can someone help me? I would be very thankful!

Best regards,
Teppeny

Hello, Teppeny

As the title itself explains, the march was dedicated to the battle path that led to the Third Reich.

The included - and very symbolic - melodies are:
- Signal "Wecken" (wake up!)
- Volk, an's Gewehr! (people, get your arms!)
- Gebet während der Schlacht (battle prayer)
- Signal "Das Ganze" (everyone)
- SA-Totenmarsch (party fighters' funeral march)
- Horst-Wessel-Lied (party anthem)
- Deutschlandlied (state anthem)
(the rest was newly-composed by Olias)

Cheers,
Ivan

Note that there was also an anti-Nazi song of the same name, written by Bertolt Brecht and set to the melody of "It's a Long Way to Tipperary".

Cheers,
Ivan
