An excellent photo of three bandleaders from Halle a. Saale:
Musikdirektor Hans Teichmann, Musikmeister Richard Seifert and Obermusikmeister Karl Steuer.

Hans Teichmann (1888-1961) later became a Stabsmusikmeister and bandleader of the Wachbataillon der Luftwaffe, leaving a number of military recordings behind him.

Richard Seifert (1887-____) was the bandleader of Stahlhelm-Bundeskapelle Halle a. S. (also known as the Seifert-Orchester), and was apparently quite popular at the time (late 1920s / early 1930s). However, I haven't found any info on his post-Stahlhelm activities (if there were any).

Karl Steuer (____-____), like Teichmann, later also became a Stabsmusikmeister and Luftwaffe bandleader, leading the band of the local Fliegerhorst-Kommandantur (Halle a. S.).

They are drunk/tipsy in this photo by the way :D

(There's another image from the same session, showing them with even drunker facial expressions, an empty beer mug & full ashtray.)

Cheers,
Ivan

An excellent photo of three famous composers. (Note: Pardun wears a collar patch of SA-Brigade 30.)

A good photo! By the way, Nierentz served in my country during WWII, as a PK member, in Soldatensender Belgrad (Propaganda-Abteilung Südost). His detailed biography can be found here: Studienkreis Rundfunk und Geschichte: Mitteilungen (pages 241-247)

Cheers,
Ivan
