Heinrich Dippel (1866-1933)

Musikdirektor Heinrich Dippel, former bandleader of the Garde Fusilier Regiment (1901-1919), pictured as the bandleader of the II Battalion, 9th (Prussian) Infantry Regiment (which he led until his retirement in 1932). Dippel recorded for the Beka label in 1908, with his first band, for Electrola in 1931, with his second band, and he also made a couple of recordings for Kristall after his retirement (with Heinrich-Dippel-Orchester), shortly before his death in 1933.
