in the movie 08/15, the NCO's sing a song called Großes Trullalla(?), my question, is this a real song and is there a recording of it or any lyrics?

Here is the song

That's a great question! I would also love to know where to find that song and/or the lyrics! :milwink:

The "game" (if you're so generous) consists simply of the repeated line "das Ding da, Ding da, zum Trudirallala; das Ding da, Ding da, zum Trullala!" - the thing here, thing here, heh Trudirallala; the thing here, thing here, heh Trullala!" were is what Waber does to/with the "thing." In the first line for example it's "Steigt auf...", i.e. "Climb on..." and the "thing" is the table. The "joke" is of course that the last "thing" is the penis. Ha ha. I've never heard this elsewhere.

"Trullala" is a nonsense refrain word that features heavily in the traditional "Kasperle" puppet show songs (that is the German variant of Punch and Judy).

HTH and regards

I have been hunting around trying to figure out what Oberstleutnant von Plönnies' favorite song is. In the film, 08/15 part two, this character listens to the record a number of times. I always enjoy watching the movie, but would like to know what song it is. Does anyone know the name of the song?
