The Scharnhorst (1992) soundtrack

Hello everyone, I am new to the forum and I am looking for help in finding the composer's name for some music. In watching a documentary about the service history of the Schlachtschiff Scharnhorst I found a section with some great music. This sections starts around the 4:46 mark in the video, link:

I can't figure out who wrote this music, thinking it may have been Herbert Windt, but I don't have anything that really confirms this.

Also, does anyone know who composed the music for the film Schlachtschiff in Fahrt?
