[Several threads dealing with "Wings of the Luftwaffe" soundtrack have been merged by the music section host, Ivan Ž.]

Most segments of this documentary have the same two songs in the background.
I know one is a Beethoven's "Moonlight Sonata". But which version?
Whats the other song?

For those of you who are aficionados of the series Wings of The Luftwaffe, perhaps you can help me out with the various tracks on the show.

Often we hear "Moonlight Sonata" as well as the German Anthem however I cannot place the other tunes.

I should also add the familiar Wagner tune "Ride of the Valkyries" is prominently played almost in every episode.

Anyone?

Thanks,
T

One is Beethoven's "Pathetique" sonata, movement #2.

Does anyone know the name of the music played in the episode of Wings of the Luftwaffe where they talk about the Komet 163? The music I am interested in is towards the end of the episode.

Hi,

if you are referring to the piece of background music right before the closing credits - I do not know it, but it is not very unlikely that it's simply film music scored for this documentary by Todd Hahn...

Best regards,
Thomas
