NSKK Sammlung für Winterhilfswerk in Berlin, 1937. Der Musikzug der Motorstandarte 28 des NSKK sammelt im Rahmen der sogenannten Reichsstraßensammlung auf dem Berliner Wilhelmplatz Spenden für das NS-W​interhilfswerk.

The band, as far as is known, made only two commercial recordings, for the Gloria label, on 12 October 1935 (led by Karl Extra).

What is special about this band is that their recording of their bandleader's "Panzerwagen-Marsch" is the earliest known recording containing the melody of "Panzerwagenlied" (in trio), nowadays better known as the "Panzerlied".

Also, the original Gloria recording list shows that the "Panzerwagenlied" was initially the title of a Nazi song: "Es stehet im Osten die eiserne Schar" (which was later converted into an army song, starting with the line "Ob's stürmt oder schneit, ob die Sonne uns lacht").
