A photo and an early biography of one of the most important film (and especially propaganda film) composers of the Third Reich - Herbert Windt - who is particularly known for his cooperation with famous female film director Leni Riefenstahl (Windt composed music for her cult films "Triumph des Willens" and "Olympia", and also for "Der Sieg des Glaubens").

Note: his facial deformation, as can be concluded from the text, was a product of a heavy wounding at Verdun 1917.
