A WWII photo report on German composer and conductor Fritz Brase, former bandmaster of the Kaiser Alexander Guard Grenadier Regiment No 1, organiser of police bands and a Berlin Philharmonic conductor, who was called to Ireland in 1923 to organise the music of the Irish Army.

The report was made on the occasion of Brase's death (he died a month earlier).

Notice the photo of him looking at Hitler's image (von Hindenburg on the right).

1. Obermusikinspizient Brase in Irland gestorben. Oberst Brase!

Here he's conducting his march "O'Donnell Abú" based on a traditional Irish song of the same name.
