[Split from Looking for sound files]
Hello,
I have the recording Horrido Hussassa! Marsch der deutschen Jäger, played by Musikkorps des Fliegerhorstes Königsberg Neumark. But I don't know who the composer is.
Best regards,
Trommler

Re: Horrido - Hussassa!
That's Hermann Männecke's piece, with the folk song "Es leb' der Schütze froh und frei" in trio. Recorded on 16 May 1941 (composed in 1936).
See my scan:
You probably have Jean-Pierre Faur's sound file, which was shared on YouTube by a different uploader.
Cheers,
Ivan

That´s it, thank you, Ivan!

Cheers.
By the way, the original Lindström recording list hides an interesting and generally unknown detail about this piece: it was dedicated to Reichsjägermeister Hermann Göring ("dem Herrn Reichsjägermeister Hermann Göring gewidmet"). (The note below reads "nicht auf Etikett", meaning that the dedication wasn't published on the record label.)
The composition was copyrighted on 27 March 1936.
