Hello and thanks for sharing.

During the Third Reich period, apart from conducting Berlin opera orchestras and recording classical music for Telefunken, Otto also composed the march "Die Wacht am Rhein" (with the old song of the same name in trio), likely for the campaign in France (whose signature tune was the same song). This well-composed piece was recorded by the Stabsmusikkorps des Wachbataillons der Luftwaffe on 1 June 1940, for Telefunken, along with other French campaign tunes. A high-quality copy of the recording can be found on Brandenburg Historica's CD "Marschlieder" (BH-0935).

Cheers,
Ivan
