Neuer Westfalenmarsch (Westfalenland, mein Heimatland...)
[Topic title completed by the host, Ivan Ž.]
Hello together, I'm looking for the (German) lyrics of this marching song. I'd be thankful, if someone here could help me.
Telefunken label of the recording by Carl Woitschach's Blas-Orchester with choir, 1933, Telefunken A1416.
Music and lyrics: Prof. Carl Langhorst.

Re: Neuer Westfalenmarsch
I have the text, but it may not be accurate, I can try to upload it here, but Ivan is unlikely to be happy about it.

That would be really helpful, even it's not accurate.

Thank you, just found it, was in spam.
I don't know why, but I can't reply to the mail. Thanks a lot, the text seems correct, that's really helpful to me.

Hello, Musikus1871, and
Note that this march pre-dates the Third Reich (first published in 1932), but its first recordings were made during the Third Reich era. Both known recordings were made by Woitschach's band, one for Telefunken and one for Lindström's Gloria label (the latter is only seldom-known). Langhorst published the piece as a song as well, in 1933, entitled "Westfalenlied". The 1932 orchestral arrangement for the march (used by Woitschach) was made by H. Larsen and the 1933 choral arrangement for the song was made by F. Reinhardt (no known recordings of the song, outside the march).
(For publishing info always check Hofmeister's Musikalisch-literarische Monatsberichte, and in this case check the 1932 and 1933 volumes.)
Original lyrics (containing three verses), with photos of the composer and his birth house: Source: https://oldthing.de/AK-Rahden-Gasthaus- ... 0031493895
Cheers,
Ivan
