I've been searching for the lyrics of the song "Schön ist es, Soldat zu sein" by H. Bund and H. Dekner, but haven't found them complete anywhere online. Does any of you have the complete lyrics?

It's a shame they didn't record the best part (2nd strophe): "Red lips, blond hair and a pair of blue eyes - gosh, girl, we like that a lot." You can almost hear sighing accompanying those lines.

Note that the line "vielleicht ein ganzes Jahr" (near the end of the 2nd strophe) appears to be incomplete. That's how it was printed in the songbook, but if you try singing that line, you'll notice there aren't enough syllables to cover the melody.
