Regarding the "di-da-di-did" bit, for those who didn't know:
On the back side of the the famous postwar "Drei Lilien, drei Lilien..." record, the "Funkerlied" was actually credited with the morse code for "L" (dot-dash-dot-dot) as its secondary titlelabwizard wrote: ↑18 Oct 2011 13:20"Dee dah dee dit" is how the letter "L" sounds when being (radio)telegraphed in Morse code - and "L" is here for "Liebe" ("love"). When being trained in Morse coding, there is a mnemonic aid for remembering the code for the letter "L" - it's the sentence "Ich liebe dich" ("I love you") which has the same metrum (meter) as the code.
