Oldest Nazi song?

A while ago, I was browsing through some of the files in my digital collection and wondered...which exactly is the oldest Nazi song?

Certainly, a few notable candidates would be the songs recorded under Wilhelm Hillebrandt [e.g. Noch ist die Freiheit nicht verloren - 1925, Der Trommler - 1924, etc...]

However, upon looking around, the oldest Nazi song based on my research is the "Sturmlied" [Sturm, Sturm, Sturm...]. From what I found, the second verse of this song was written in 1919, while the first verse was written in 1923 during the commemoration of Hitler's 34th Birthday. (Hillesheim and Michael, 1993)

If anyone knows a Nazi song that's much older than this, I would love to know. That'll be all, thank you and have a great day everyone :DD

It's certainly an interesting inquiry and topic, which I didn't have the time to research much. But I can quickly add two more titles from 1923 (copyright date), both appearing in Hanfstaengl's 1924 Hitler-Liederbuch: "Alles fürs Vaterland" (a song about Leo Schlageter) and "Hitler-Lied". The songbook contains three more songs, copyrighted 1924 (all by Hanfstaengl, with a couple of borrowed melodies).

Speaking of oldest Nazi songs, it's worth mentioning that the most popular (most covered) tune among German nationalists of the 1920s and early 1930s was American actually - Morse's "Blue Bell" (usually covered as "Kam'rad, reich' mir die Hände...").

Hello Ivan, this is certainly an interesting inference.

In regards to Blue Bell, I recently discovered that the NSDAP's version of the ever ambiguous German Nationalist rendition of this song "Kam'rad, reich' mir die Hände" is also known as the "Erstes Kampflied der SA". Could it be that one may consider this version to be the oldest song of the SA? This is definitely a captivating aspect to dive on.
