[Topic entitled "Identification of unknown song" has been renamed according to the song's opening line; I. Ž.]
Greetings everyone, I hope you're all having a great day.
I was watching a documentary about Nazi Television broadcasts, but one segment of this video that caught my attention is this timestamp wherein a man can be heard singing a song which talks about the SA and SS.

If anyone can tell me what the name of this song is and provide information on it, I'd appreciate it. That'll be all, thank you very much.

Re: Identification of unknown song
Hello, D-General
Unfortunately, the English speaker's voice prevents us from hearing the original German announcement completely; but from what can be heard, it appears that the performer wrote the song for his Sturm (company-sized Nazi unit). It begins with the line "Die braunen Kolonnen der SA und schwarzen der SS", but I have no idea what was its original title. It's likely one of numerous obscure / privately written songs.
Cheers,
Ivan

Re: Identification of unknown song
Thank you very much for the information Ivan. It certainly is a shame that a full recording of this segment isn't readily accessible, I speculate that the uncut footage might have some more information about this song. Nonetheless, it is interesting to know that this was not a widely-known song and was merely created for a single unit. Thanks again!
