Re: Hermann Müller-John & Musikkorps der Leibstandarte-SS "Adolf Hitler"
Note that the LSSAH changed its Schellenbaum banner at some point (1938/1939), as can be seen in the photos from Hitler's 50th birthday.
The earlier and better known banner was inscribed "Adolf Hitler-Standarte", which was later changed to "Leibstandarte Adolf Hitler" (as far as I can tell). The eagle was also updated to a newer (SS) design. Attached below are examples from March 1938 and April 1939. Cheers,
Ivan

Re: Hermann Müller-John & Musikkorps der Leibstandarte-SS "Adolf Hitler"
Hermann Müller-John (notice his medals on full display) conducts his band at the Luitpoldarena in Nuremberg, while Lutze, Hitler and Himmler honour their fallen Nazi comrades with a salute, Reichsparteitag 1937. On these occasions, a funeral march was played. In "Triumph des Willens" (1934), for example, played during this scene was Hanfstaengl's "Jugend trauert" (however, since the soundtracks were recorded afterwards, in studio, one can't really be sure that it was that piece that was actually played there and on these occasions generally).

Dressed in tank uniform (and having lost quite a bit of weight), SS-Stubaf. Müller-John greets the audience at an unknown wartime concert.
(Note: LSSAH became an armoured/tank division in October 1943.)

Remembering my previous post on the topic and other concert announcements, it seems to me that in the first half of March they have been doing a concert tour in Southwest Germany. Here are reports on two more KdF concerts of the LSSAH band which took place in March 1943.Tretyak wrote: ↑26 Nov 2019 17:30Press announcement & report on the concert in Mannheim, 13 March 1943

Hello, Egor, and thanks for sharing (sorry for the late response; I've completed your posts with a couple more reports in the meantime
).
You're right, it was obviously a concert tour (in Baden).
Here's a report on another concert, in Pforzheim, 7 March 1943.
From Pforzheimer Anzeiger, 08.03.1943, p. 3

And after the concert in Mannheim (13 March), there was also a concert in Heidelberg, but I'm not sure when exactly.
