The III.(Pz.Jg.)/Pz.Rgt. HG arrived on the Eastern Front in early August 1944 with 24 Jagdpz. IV L/48. With the formation of Pz.Korps HG it became Korps-Pz.Jg.Abt. HG.
Fallsch.Stu.Gesch.Abt HG was equipped with 45 StuG III in mid October 1944.

1.1.1945
Korps-Pz.Jg.Abt. HG reported 18 Jagdpz. IV L/48 on hand.
Fsch.Stu.Gesch.Abt. HG reported 32 StuG III on hand.

1.2.1945
Fsch.Stu.Gesch.Abt. HG reported 32 StuG III, 2 StuH 42 and 4 Jagdpz. IV L/48 on hand. I do not know where the StuH 42 came from. Since none had been delivered directly to Fsch.Pz.Gren.Div. 2 HG they may have been taken over from another unit. The Jagdpz. IV L/48 apparently came from the Korps-Pz.Jg.Abt. HG. I do not know what exactly had happened and when, but by 1.2.1945 Korps-Pz.Jg.Abt. HG no longer existed and the remaining tank destroyers formed a platoon in the 2./Fsch.Stu.Gesch.Abt. HG.

15.3.1945
Fsch.Stu.Gesch.Abt. HG reported 19 StuG III, 1 StuH 42 and 1 Jagdpz. IV L/48 on hand.

I have no more data about these units after that date.

Dear Alain
in „Abwehrkämpfe am ohne Nordflügel der Ostfront 1944 – 1945“ is written, on the 22.1.45 the 1.ID and on the following day the Korpsgruppe Blaurock was ordered under the command of the Fallschirmpanzerkorps “Herman Göring”.
This Korpsgruppe “Blaurock” was consisting (made up of) of the 56. ID and remains of the 549.VGD and other smaller groups/remains.

It would be very interesting for me if you would check in the KTB of the II. / Fallschirm-Panzer-Regiment '' Hermann Göring '', to find any information on this, especially on the 549. VGD, also for the following days of battle .
