A simple way to determine whether a Iron cross is authentic or not is to check if the black iron core is magnetic or not, if it is magnetic that is a good sign (the silver part should not be magnetic, only the black core). Next is to take a bit of paper and try to make it fit between the black part and the silver part, if you can fit a paper that means that the cross is a three-piece construction and that is also a sign that it might be authentic.
Always check for maker markings on the ring also.

About this cross im not the right person to make a determination, i can just give you some examples how to check it out.

Hum...it seems to be made of one single piece.
Watch the cut in the sides...

It is magnetic, but i cant find a seam between the black and silver.
