Stolen item resurfaces on the forum

#1

Post by matthew4108 » 05 Jun 2018, 20:42

Just a heads up- this Kripo disc numbered 1654 pictured below was stolen from the mail back in 2002 on its way to the purchaser in UK. D. Niemann refunded the original purchase price but the item has never been recovered. Today it has been posted for opinions on WAF by one of its members asking for opinions. Someone should write a note and inform the potential buyers it is a stolen item.

As for this posting on WAF!! Sounds like the OP (original oster) is getting ready to *punk* someone. He is posting pics from elsewhere, as he states, crap, they could be from many yuears ago IMO... and.. there are more scammers and thieves on WAF than anyother forum(due to meny more members) but the highter the post count it seems, the more likely the member is a Jag-off,lol

The OP was just posting it for opinions when I saw a post on another forum about this item being stolen years ago. Not being able to post on WAF and wanting to help, I posted everywhere else. Luckily for the OP, it has worked, currently he is working with the original purchaser from 2002 to see if they can help police nab the thief. Whether or not it will work, I don't know but it's certainly worth a try.
As for forums out there condoning thievery and misinformation of those running it- there are places far worse than WAF.
