Help Identifying: Sei unser Führer

#1

Post by Medic789 » 25 Jun 2007, 18:56

I picked up this item as part of a lot but I don't know what it is... The only text on it is "Sei unser Führer!". There are no makers marks, it is Octagonal, about 3" across. There is an old man with a child on his shoulder. The back is completely plain as are the edges. Any help identifying the item and/or value would be appreciated.

Thanks whoamiwhy but doesn‘t really explain what it is besides a plaquette/tinnie.
Jason, my guess is a nazified 1930s (or later) version of an earlier car plaque depicting St. Christopher and the words “Be our leader”. By the 1930s the saints name dissapeared, swastika was added and the only one to follow was obvious. A 1920s version with the same “old man and child” and wording from ebay https://www.ebay.com/itm/This-is-a-1920 ... 3462581525
