Re: Fake or original?
Anytime you want to sell your Braunsweig tinnie as a repro, shoot me a PM, I'll be happy to relieve you of your "mistake".
Anyone cares to show a confirmed aluminum SA 1931 fake tinnie, I am sure most of us would learn something new, I know I would.
SS button...anyone seen any of those- fake or original with hollow runes? (I don't mean sand cast)?

Re: Fake or original?
I never saw one before.
Certainly not made from an original SS button, and I don't think it's a serial pin, and approved by RZM.

Re: Fake or original?
The RZM ("Reichszeugmeisterei") stamping was never an absolute guarantee of originality for german militaria, never.
Reichszeugmeisterei https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reichszeugmeisterei
Those who still believe in these stamps and paper tags, also believe in Santa Claus, who visits the house in a sleigh, and then disappears again in the heavenly realms...
Half meters of books were written about the RZM stamps and tags in earlier years, and a lot of nonsense has been published on this very topic.
Many of these books are probably familiar to some of you here, the titles of these books do not belong here please.
Hans

matthew4108, what about a few "originals" from your collections, please don't let us starve ignorantly, I am very curious to see your "originals"...?

The question was about the "Abzeichen – SA Treffen Braunschweig 17./18. Oktober 1931"
SA-Aufmarsch in Braunschweig https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/SA-Aufmar ... aunschweig
Hans
Btw: "Ehrenzeichen der Alten Garde 1923"
(Internet find, like in 99,9% of all times...)

Re: Fake or original?
The question was about showing badges from your collection, not someone else's. I think by now we know you're capable of presenting someone else's stuff here. Show us badges from your collection. There must be plenty with your "decades of experience".
Re: Fake or original?
Nonsense again...
The photos are so very bad again, what to say about all this...
Forget it, sorry

Re: Fake or original?
Close-ups are only needed for those who know what they're looking at. You're not in that group so there's no need to bother. Not everything can be verified looking it up on Google, Mr. Collector.
Wanted a close-up? Here's a close-up. Let's see if you know what you're even looking at. Militaria collecting, Axis Awards 101. Go ahead, enlighten us...

Re: Fake or original?
What you think is your business, and is of little to no interest to me.
A collector I was decades ago, nowadays, I sink my money into ancient motorcycles...
Happy collecting!
Hans
P.S. I would advise you to get a better camera, the pictures are still horribly bad....
Try a NIKON DSLR.

Re: Fake or original?
Perhaps you'd be better off sounding off on an ancient motorcycle forum then. And hopefully you'll have better luck there because every time I look, you seem to pick a wrong flower here. From one motorcyclist to another (unless you're as much of a rider as you are a collector).
