Hi All,
First post here having just come across the forum.
I am a collector of WW1 medals to men from my hometown in the UK - however have always had an interest in WW2 awards/badges, particularly German.
Today I have been given first refusal on a number of badges, but have to be honest, I am very wary of fakes and don't feel confident enough to make a judgement call for myself (including the magic number that comes with them £££££!)
Particularly interested in the PO and U Boat below - grateful for any opinions.

Re: Beginner Question - PO and Navy German Badges
Both are fakes, .Rivets on LO badge all wrong.as for the top one, looks to be a badly cast. Both look oddly without crisp details as originals are, but this is my opinion as I am not the expert in any way. Sopme members here will shortly offer more detailed opinions, maybe we both shall learn

Re: Beginner Question - PO and Navy German Badges
they are all bad as already stated by Mark. Do some research , buy some books & cruise the forums & you will be better off. Also post items on here or other forums for opinions before buying.
