Is this a WW2 German badge of some sort?

Re: WW2 German Badge
It does appear to be a period piece.
I do not know the use, or where it was placed ( Metopes, Wall plaques ? )
This kind of image was used on commemorative coins too.
Coin of 10 Pfenning

Hi Porcelain44,
A very common motif after the 1933 seizure of power, used for commemorative pictures, small wall hangers, and similar memorabilia for WWI veterans.
Here is certainly a piece related to the "Stahlhelm, Bund der Frontsoldaten".

Very nicely executed and also preserved, not particularly valuable, but definitely old and original.
