It's a scan of an old spanish magazine called "Historia y vida", published on January 2001.

The medal near Blood Order.
Look at this picture, the time is 1941.8,Robert Rey went to GG to visit Hans Frank. What is the medal near his Blood Order ?
Re: Unidentified Medals, Decorations, Badges in wear
The sailor (KM officer) is wearing what appears to be an Italian Military Merit Cross.....
The picture of Ley is odd....certianly not any normal badge or award.....maybe it's an awrd of the Gau Honor Badge......both Ost Prussia & Danzig had large oval badges.....but neither would go on that position on the uniform.....but anything is possible, especially if it was "just awarded".....
Of course....it could be a "day badge".....but by the time this photo was taken no many "tinneys" were being "struck"....
No idear what else it might be.????

Hans Frank also had one,but his this kind of medal or award was under his Blood Order.Too strange!John G. wrote:The sailor (KM officer) is wearing what appears to be an Italian Military Merit Cross.....

The Background event was that Robery Ley visited Hans Frank to celebrate a Memorial Day of GG.BUT,time is 1941.8,August is not the GG's established time. And, their uniform is NSDAP uniform ,Frank did not wear his GG officer uniform. So,the event belonged to NSDAP itself.

Re: Unidentified Medals, Decorations, Badges in wear
Looks like a plain ribbon (lt. blue) round medal with wreath design.....appears to be an ITALIAN BRAVERY MEDAL (?)....can't think of anything else it could be? Was awarded in Bronze/Silver/Gold and was awarded (occassionally) to Germans .....I see an Italian Naval Officers "shoulder" where the photo is creased....so makes sense!
