I found this photo in my collection. The guy saluting is wearing a star shaped object around his neck.
While it is probably not a medal, does anyone know what it may be?

AliRafikkan....maybe "same as" Bulgarian Order of Bravery.....I was going by previous AHFactbook reply....I know it's Bulgarian but don't have any indepth referances on thier awards.....

Larry......No idear what the "throat star" is....interesting mix of early & "later" version tunics, visor hats, pointed & round ended shoulder straps, and early & later versions of Army cap eagles.....maybe he was contestant in "Star of the Day" or "Third Reich Idol"
