Thank you John G. :)

Is this the same with Bulgarian Order of Bravery (Tapferkeitsorden)? Because they look alike, at least to me...

Hi

I found this photo in my collection. The guy saluting is wearing a star shaped object around his neck.
While it is probably not a medal, does anyone know what it may be?
All comments welcome.

Larry

AliRafikkan....maybe "same as" Bulgarian Order of Bravery.....I was going by previous AHFactbook reply....I know it's Bulgarian but don't have any indepth referances on thier awards.....

Larry......No idear what the "throat star" is....interesting mix of early & "later" version tunics, visor hats, pointed & round ended shoulder straps, and early & later versions of Army cap eagles.....maybe he was contestant in "Star of the Day" or "Third Reich Idol"

What is the medal used for that ribbon (blood order style) on the right pocket of Major Georg Briel (later Oberstleutnant) in this picture?

Hi! It’s the Italian Medaglia d’Argento al Valore Militare or the Silver Bravey Medal.

Best regards,
Shawn

Is it a medal on the collar of Peter Düttmann, or just a group emblem?

Don't know which ones they are....but "group" or "Squadron" pins....not official medals or awards.
