Perhaps Savoy Order. Lanz participated in the Balkan Campaign, maybe with Italian forces.

And what about this Gran Cross on Otto Hartmann's chest. Romanian Star Order or Bulgarian Military Merit Order?

Otto Hartmann was awarded the Order der Krone von Rumänien ( Orden mit Schwertern ) according to my source,
with no mention of the Romanian Star Order.

In this case, it appears to be a Bulgarian Order of Military Merit breast star.
