Pflomm is wearing the Gau Honor Badge for Thuringia.

A rare award, reproductions are known, mostly of poor quality.

Re: Unidentified Medals, Decorations, Badges in wear
Trying to identify medals on a member of the Flakregiment 53 flak Gruppe Nord. The standing photo is taken in probably 1942, the second somewhat later. Can anyone identify the medals and rank in both photos? Also as an extra if anyone knows could he have been deployed outside of Germany as well? Much appreciated

Re: Unidentified Medals, Decorations, Badges in wear
His rank in the second photograph is Wachtmeister (the artillery traditionally used this designation instead of Feldwebel). He is wearing the ribbon of the KVK 2 [War Merit Cross 2nd Class].
Rank in the first one is Unteroffizier. The medals appear to be the KVK 2 and the Sudetenland medal, but the photo is too blurry to be 100% certain. I can't make out what the pinback badge is.
I./Flak-Regiment 53 was deployed abroad. See:
