Mit Hitler in Coburg
Re: Mit Hitler in Coburg
Here's a one of a kind Coburg Badge that was possibly owned by Albert Bormann. It's in a private collection in the UK and real work of art IMO.

Re: Mit Hitler in Coburg
I think one of Hitler's quotations is something like if a party member is wearing the Coburg Badge and the 1929 Party Day badge then there's nothing he need add? Something like that

Re: Mit Hitler in Coburg
Another Coburg Badge holder. He was ID'd on a thread here as Freiherr Friedrich von Reitzenstein
But he does not appear in this [ http://forum.axishistory.com/viewtopic. ... 8&t=111756 ] list of SS recipients or the official list posted by Helly. Is it in his personnel file or in an early Dienstaltersliste I wonder?

The copy that I posted is from the Bundesarchiv, the document is original from the NSDAP archives.

Re: Mit Hitler in Coburg
Hans Zoberlein, [born 1895] an SA Brigadeführer, veteran of Freikorps Von Epp and a 1921 party member Nr869. He was present at Coburg and the Putsch, a holder of the Blood Order, Coburg Badge and GPB. [I'd not be suprised if he had the 1929 Reichparteitag badge as well]. He was the author of books called "Der Glaube an Deutschland" [1931 - for which Hitler wrote the Foreword] and "Der Befehl des Gewissens" [1937] and also wrote the script for a 1933 film "Stosstrup 1917".

One more treasure that is not mine. This PC was sold at action with the signatures of notable members who were at Coburg.

Re: Mit Hitler in Coburg
Esser illustrating why certain countries dress regulations have a limit to the number of sash and breast star awards that can be worn at any one time The effect kind of goes from impressive to wondering what he was thinking, to wondering if he was in an either especially vain mood or had particularly vulgar tastes that day
