Pretty sure Esser is wearing his full regalia for this "official Portrait" photograph. Interesting that he's wearing his 25 Yr. NSDAP long service cross in his buttonhole and both the Olympic Neck Order and 2nd Cl. on his ribbon bar....as well as the Luftw. 1st model Dagger.....

Yes indeed. Nice photo of him. The very plain medal bar contrasts quite well with the status of the Coburg Badge.

Woerlein was only 15 at the time of the Coburg March and was most probably a member of the Jungstrum Hitler. I wonder how his parents felt about his Political activities? Just think, mom and dad I think I want to do some street fighting!

Thanks Helly, that is a very clear photograph, and certainly shows him as being a very young 'old fighter' with the CB, BO and GPB. I suppose his status as an old fighter helped him in his 'career' in the SD. Wasn't he in IV B 4, concerned with the deportation of the Jews from the Netherlands?

Thought I would post a few new additions to my Battle of Coburg collection.

A plaque for the 20th anniversary of the event.

A Christmas card from the Kreisleiter of Coburg.

Yes the poster is original and it's one of a kind as far as I know. The poster is from an anniversary of the battle of Coburg.

Recently acquired for my collection.
Special postal handstamp for the 20th anniversary of the Coburg march.
It looks like it was a two day (weekend?) event.
Has anyone come across it being reported in the press, Illustriete Beobacher etc?

Good night,
Could the friends who are specialists in this decoration please give me their opinion on this piece?

Very thankful,

Helly.
