rommel-lebt.com - FAKE ALERT

#1

Post by William Kramer » 25 Jun 2013, 18:17

Hello all,

If you do a forum search of "rommel-lebt" you will come across a few threads where the owner of the site is caught selling blatant reproductions as originals. This member was also banned from WAF a while back. I myself actually purchased an item from the website to get a feel for the dealer's business ethics. Upon receiving, I felt the inexpensive photo is authentic and the transaction was good overall, however I would urge collectors to purchase with caution. Just wanted to let you know that he is still at it, within seconds of browsing the site I found this floch reproduction being sold as authentic. Just wanted to bring this to everyone's attention.

Where is the KVK, Bill? It is located in the repro section. I asked you to help me by pointing out any repros left on my site, instead you SLAM ME. I will see you in court Bill. I suppose this post will disappear like others I posted. It's nice having the power, isn't it Bill?

thanks to this thread it magically moved itself to the reproduction section and reduced its price from $124.95 to $49.95

isn't that strange?

For reference, here's a previous thread started on this dealer:

That is the whole point Bill! If you or anybody notifies me of a fake I will move it, just like I did a year ago. How the heck am I supposed to recognize a floch? I deal primarily in signed photos, not medals, as I stated last year. But again, it is more fun to beat up on me, then it is to help me, isn't it? You and Mark enjoy it, right?

Well it has been nearly 4 years since this last slam of my website by William Kramer. I have removed all the pointed out fakes. And yet they feed this thread (for lack of proper term) and won't let it die! Well, I have some good news for you Bill. I am retiring from the website. I have reduced the prices on everything. Most of my dad's medals have been sold. I have a few left, as well as a lot of other stuff. So check out my website. Let me know if you see any fakes! I will remove them. I think you will like most of the prices. Thanks for the apology Mark. I should have thanked you over 3.5 years ago! rommel-lebt.com
