...and now we get also a face to the commander ( I've 'found' the other parts of him ...my sad, for years I stored them in another location and it got forgotten , that I have also this items of him ...).

the Heldentodurkunden duo from his brother Bootsmannsmaat Martin on U 633
KIA on his first patrol U 633 sunk 09 March 1943 in the North Atlantic, in position 58.51N, 19.55W, by ramming from the British merchant SS Scorton.

in this case it's very uncommon that Korvettenkapitän and Flottillenchef Lehmann- Willenrock filed these 2 ones orig. and not marked as a copy for the second one in this 1 month timeframe;
you'll see also the text and layout are different ( also the paper : first is on a light carton paper, the second one is a little thinner and without the print marking beyond left)
