Flyer's Commemorative Badge

#1

Post by oudinot » 26 Oct 2017, 23:47

Good afternoon everyone!

I had a chance to purchase a Flyer's Commemorative Badge (the Luftwaffe award to discharged personnel) for a very suspiciously low price (270$). Posessing knowledge in Russian militaria, I just started expanding my German collection, and thus I would be grateful if anyone with expertise can tell if the purchased award is a post-war fake or I am lucky enough to buy a period award for cheap. I have not received the medal myself, however, the photos from the seller are attached.
I am grateful for any assistance

There are many versions of that reproduction badge with many different makers marks; here is a link to an original to compare it with.
