equestrian german badge
The equestrian badge had 3 levels, what a "reiter" did to have this badge? I know that the gold was for olympic races.

Also Heydrich and Fegelein worn it.
Re: equestrian german badge
The gold award wasn't just for olympic winners... but of course they would normally qualify for that level. All awards were for Horsemanship, Equestrian competition, service to equestrian Sports in general, etc., the Gold version being awarded relatively few times (there were many more made than awarded of all grades).
More detail qualification requirements are listed on other forums.... and most reference books.

Re: equestrian german badge
Heinz Heydrich, younger brother of Reinhard Heydrich, was also awarded the Equestrian badge. It is visible in one photo I've seen of him wearing his Panzer Soldier uniform.
Is anyone aware of what class his award was? When?
