POA medal

Post by wtjn » 05 May 2018, 21:15

Is there somebody who can tell me more about the history of this so called POA medal. I can find information about the medals of the ostvolker but none about this POA-medal. Did soldiers receive it in the short period that the POA really existed?

Dear Semenov, thanks for your reply. I'm new on the forum and i hope you don't mind that i have another question. Is there a place on the internet or a book where i can find more information about the thoughts behind this medal? I bought this medal with the information that is was out of an inheritance of a german under officer. So i thought that the medal was used in the last months of the war. When it is a medal from after the war, do you mean it's a fake? Or was it made by people who were part of the POA but made the medal after the war?

With kind regards,
