Can somebody please ID cap badge?

#1

Post by Entschuldigung » 29 Sep 2018, 07:16

Guten Tag fellow enthusiasts.
I'm usually fairly good at ID'ing badges, awards, and decorations, but this one has got me stumped. It is shown between 1:15-1:30 of this youtube video on the caps of some the troops quite clearly as a rather large badge.
I would appreciate any help, Danke in advance.
Ki.

Vielen Dank Alles. I thought it might have been related to either Fallschimjäger oder Gebirgsjäger. Quite a nice badge, if a little too big. I believe a lot of inaccurate myths and legends have surfaced about the famous 'Edelweiß' decoration.
Danke für Ihre Hilfe.
