Stick pins for review

In the lot I bought at the estate sale was this batch of stick pins. I don't see anything that looks bad. But maybe a more trained eye can tell.

Thanks, anyone know what the eagle with lightning bolts is for? Whitmans had one for sale with gold tone, [so does this one but its worn off] His site said it was for a postal worker. I thought the lightning bolts were for radio operators.

Eagle with lightning bolts is "Postschutz" , which was postal protection, not regular postal workers.... Fairly scarce stickpin. Nice stick pin lot!

Thanks. It came in an estate sale for a group. Some ww2 stuff has been IDed as fake. Some as real. Here is the lot I picked up. One spange has been IDed as a fake L/4 the other a real Mayer , deaths head I can not get an opinon so returning it as was agreed with seller. The RK is a L/12 fake, the ek1 ww2 is a L15 fake, all the ww1 stuff is real. Medal bar is real with olympic medal and spange. Ribbon bars are real but some think the long service ribbon no attachment is a post war. Kreta is 57er. I am returning the fakes. Although I have had offers on the RK as a nice filler.

The BNL Woundbadge is a well known fake sold by Morigi.

Funny on another forum they said it was a good original. I can not find any you have described as fake but a lot of dealers who have ones like it as original. Do you have any proof

I've no intention of being a smart a$$, but the number of dealers selling this WB as original is hardly relevant. As for opinions on other forums, I suggest you do a search on WAF on this specific piece. Enclosed is an illustration from one of Morigi's sales catalogues and a close-up of the Kuban shield.

cheers

Thanks for the heads up. How do the other pins look?

IMO the Postschutz and WB in silver are questionable.
