Are there official documents that prove awarding of medals or promotions to 6th Army soldiers, before the "end", to make courage?
1993 Stalingrad film showed, with formula, "in the name of the Führer" promotions cerimonies.
What was also the award criteria?

Might post this on the Eastern Front section we have. But there are photos and accounts of these award presentatins all over different www sites and they were common on all fronts during the war.Even Hitler presenting HJ (kids) with the IC2nd in the bunker courtyard during the last days of the war, just aqlot of BS on the Germ,ans part IMO.
