Hi Alex , even Martin Block does not know a FüsBtl. of this unit ...

It's simply making me crazy this evening. Ulrich Saft mentions him in his chapter about Unternehmen Sonnenwende as Kdr. DivFüsBtl. of FGD , too ....

Oh damn , I am not the only one who stumbled over this non-existing FüsBtl. ...

Having contacted Mr.Scherzer for his opinion he anwered that it is mysterious for him , too .

No such unit , but it is listed this way in the "maschinenschriftlichen Liste der verliehenen Ritterkreuze (mLvRK)" !

Has anyone any further information or any photos of GD RKT Günther Famula, Leutnant – 5 (Panzer)/ Füsilier Begleit Battalion – RK 4 May 1944.

He won the RK for the fighting in Estonia as part of the Panzer Kampfgruppe of Graf Strachwitz but was killed in action before the award ,
