This is Walter Koch, decorated with the Knights Cross for leading one of the units that took the Belgian fortress of Eben Emael in May 1940.

(Hptm., Kdr. Fsch.Jäg.Sturmabt. 'Koch' )

This LW man is probably a bomber pilot. Does anyone know him? (source: Lexikon der Wehrmacht)

Not a bomber pilot, it is a fighter pilot: Anton Hackl.

Thanks, Ingo. The reason I thought it was a bomber pilot was because the full photo shows him with a bomber crew member.

I think the other Officer with Harmel must be Karl-Heinz Euling
