Hello SfK!

The SS-Oberscharführer ("SSpanzer.jpg") is Hugo Ruf, who won the RK on 16.10.1944 as a Zugführer, 3./SS-Pz.Rgt. 5.
And yes, the same photo appers in Jost W. Schneider's book...

Not sure who the guy is thats getting the knights cross but the guy putting it on him is Oberstleutnant Georg Dörffel.
