After looking at that photo, I am sure that it is not Michael Wittmann.
I will try to offer an id, after I have studied it some more, but I am pretty sure it is not he.

Hello, again.

After viewing that pic once again in more detail, and noticing that the officer is wearing the oakleaf decoration not readily visible with the Knight's Cross, and comparing his facial features to the pix of him I have in my collection, I do think that it is Wittmann. However, it is the only one of two of him I have ever seen without him wearing some sort of cover.

the Ritt to GL P Voelckers -78 Inf Div date Dec 42.

The Knight's Cross holder in the second photo appears to be Johannes Kümmel.
