Hello, All,

On PP 103, a good attempt was made to interpret the handwriting on the back of the picture of Gerhard Heilbronn.

Vienna did a good job of the interpretation, but I can fill in what he was not able to decipher, albeit what I have to add is minimal.

However, here goes: Leutnant Quandt.

Everything else checks out.

Hope this helps.

Take care.

Terry

Hi Bernd,

Definitely Schulz of IR 49. I have this same pic filed under him already. The other Schulz had a moustache.

Cheers
Freiherr

Hello, Fangio,

On PP 86, listed under 21055242.jpg is a pic in which you had expressed interest.

Not sure it was identified, but it is a pic of Robert Berger.

Hope this helps.

Take care.

Hello, All,

On PP 78, listed under the name of Hain, Horst_jpg as a comparison with the previous photo of Horst Hain, the picture is in fact, that of Oberleutnant der Reserve Dr. Johannes Keck.

Hope this helps.

Hello, again,

On PP 55, there is a pic listed as kc_winner_photo(Larry L.) jpg.

That is a photograph of Leutnant Rudolf Nacke. He won his KC as a Stabsfeldwebel and pilot with KG-76 on 23 Jul 1941.

Hope this helps.

Elwyn,
thanks, Schulz, Bausch and Ehle on the index already.

Ingo,
thanks, quick and not less than three ! Indexed.

Terry,
great job ! If you would have a look also on the questions I post from time to time it would be a big help, too.

Guys, I see, with your help the index will get an interesting job and a success. :D

Up to page 25 so far, I've seen dozens of unidentified persons. Many more requests to come !

Best regards
Bernd

Hello, Bernd,

Many thanks for your kind words. I do my best and I enjoy this list very much. I will continue to go through what has been posted and I am sure I will find others that require some sort of id or interpretation.

I will pay particularly close attention to your questions, and if you have any of me, please ask.

Thanks, again, and take care.

Hello, All,

On page 1, a large color photo listed as UB Ritterkreuzträger 11.jpg.

That is a picture of Peter Eil.

His granddaughter sent me a signed pic of the man.

Hope this helps.
