Bloesche (Blösche), Josef (1912-29.7.1969) [SS-Rottenfuhrer (Corporal)] – {identified from Warsaw Ghetto photo of armed guard watching a Jewish child, arms raised, walking with other prisoners (NYT 24 May 1969:2:4); arrested and charged by an East German court at Erfurt with war crimes arising out of mass murders of Jewish civilians by Einsatzkommando 8 and the Warsaw Security Police (Sipo Warschau) in two mass shootings at Baranowicze in Jul-Sept 1941, with additional killings resulting from the forced deportation of Warsaw Jews to the death camps Sept 1941-Jun 1943, and with participating in the liquidation of the Warsaw ghetto; convicted and sentenced to death May 1969 (NYT 6 May 1969:2:3); executed at Leipzig 29 July 1969. Nitsche, Prof. Dr. med. Paul (?-25.3.1948) -- director, Health Care Institute (HuPa - Heil- und Pflegeanstalten) Sonnenstein-bei-Pirna euthanasia facility 1940; director, Reich Work Group of Sanatoria and Nursing Homes (RAG) Dec 1941 {arrested and put on trial by an East German court for crimes against humanity arising out of the deaths of 80,000 persons in the German euthanasia program (Aktion T-4); convicted and sentenced to death summer 1947 (History of the United Nations War Crimes Commission and the Development of the Laws of War p. 535, United Nations War Crimes Commission, London: HMSO, 1948); executed at Dresden 25 Mar 1948 (NYT 26 Mar 1948:14:6; Nazi Mass Murder p. 17).}

Dr. Horst Fischer's death sentence specified the guillotine as the method of execution, according to the New York Times, 26 Mar 1966:2:5, but I didn't find any follow-up article on him. As I recall, Bloesche was executed by pistol shot.

Thanks, danyb. I don't know Hack's rank. MacLean's The Camp Men doesn't list him, and his rank is too low to appear on my 1944 Waffen-SS Dienstaltersliste, assuming he was in the Waffen-SS.

Willy Hack, born 1912, Reutlingen, Germany, was executed, but off the top of my head, I think it was April 1951, not 1952 as the article claims, however, I may be wrong. He was a construction project leader in the Allgemeine SS. Again, off the top of my head, was an SS corporal in the Pioneer Bn, 3.SS-PD, Waffen SS until late 1943 when he tranferred to the Allgemeine SS as an SS-Untersturmführer, rising to the rank of SS-Obersturmführer.
