Hi Dieter and John!

Thank you both for your help. John, Dieter is right, I just saw a photo of Geisler and it's him:

I would have a suggestion to do to all members who have posted an identification request in this thread which becomes increasingly long and consequently difficult to access :

In order to ease future reading, would you be OK for the following thing :

Once the soldier was identified, the member who has requested the ID would have to update the concerned thread containing the picture and would have to insert the name of the Knights Cross holder.

Thus :
- people wouldn't have to consult several tens of pages to find a name,
- if the identification was wrong, it would be easier to detect
- if the picture wouldn't have a caption notifying the recipient's name, we should consider the soldier has not been identified yet and this could increase the response rate

I think this is the simpliest way to share the mass of information included in this thread. Any advices/opinions are welcome.
Regards
Denis
Found this by Denis on page 70. No question, these ideas/arguments are absolutely striking. This will be done ! Not the index alone does it but also a better handling from inside will help to use the mass of material and don't get lost inside.

Per the announcement on page 1
in process : those with an id (100% / confirmed result by AHF team without objection) will get a caption to the pic or an entry to the post in form of a quote -> name / AHF id
/ Bernd
I've started to do that parallel thing ; examples
Werner Wolff (LSSAH) and fake KC
Peter Eil
and the quote version
Egon Agtha
Albert Graf von der Goltz
